Fasting For A Deliverance

Are you currently in a struggle with waiting on God to come through, and having the intense desire to just throw in the towel, because you have prayed and cried, then, prayed and cried some more?NOTHING. HAS. CHANGED. You have been told all of your life, that God loves you, and will NEVER forsake you, yet, you feel as if God has PURPOSELY ignored your prayers, forsaking you over, and over again! Whether it be in your prayer closet, sitting in your car, or on the floor of your bedroom, you have begged for God to hear you, to favor you, to deliver you just one more time, not tomorrow, not next week, but TODAY, RIGHT NOW! Addiction. Broken relationships. Bills. Death. Sickness. Disobedient children. Infidelity. Lies. Persecutions.  Life comes with many expected, and unexpected setbacks and setups, yet, deliverance can seem so far away.

When Queen Esther was notified that her and ALL of her people were being prepared for slaughter, she knew that if deliverance was going to come, it would ONLY come by FASTING. Queen Esther ordered for ALL of the Jews, to fast for three days…….. no eating or drinking. Now, I don’t know about you, but going three days without food AND  beverage, would have been a great challenge for ya girl! I may have been forced to rethink some things! Death by the shady ole dude, or, death by starvation…….hmmmmm……. Thankfully, the Jewish people are NOTHING like me, because they fasted for three days, and three nights, as commanded by the Queen. Long story short, Queen Esther won the favor of her king, the “shady ole dude” was buried in the grave that he dug for someone else, and the Jews were delivered from death!

You may be in need of a RIGHT NOW deliverance. You can’t wait until next month, next year, or five years from now; you NEED for God to show up and show out TODAY, just as Queen Esther needed for her and her people. The deliverance that you are in need of, may only come though FASTING and PRAYER. Now, you don’t necessarily have to fast in the way that Esther did, so ask God to place it on your heart, which fast is best for you. Fasting is sacrificial. Fasting is secretive. Fasting is an offering to the Lord. Fasting brings forth DELIVERANCE. God is NOT ignoring you, and He loves you more than you could ever understand. YOU ARE HIS CHILD, and He has plans for you to prosper, not to fail. So, pull up your sleeves, get in position, and prepare to go to battle! YOU WERE CREATED FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS.

“Then Esther sent this reply to Mordecai: “Go, gather together all the Jews who are in Susa, and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my attendants will fast as you do. When this is done, I will go to the king, even though it is against the law. And if I perish, I perish.”” Esther 4:15-16 NIV
