Joy to the World


Welp, if you are reading this, it means that you have reached the final level of 2023’s game of Jumanji! This has been quite a year right? For too many people, this year has brought forth tears, fears, disappointments, anger and a desire to just relocate to a whole different life. However, because God is a good God, I am sure that this year has also brought forth laughter, pleasure, mercy and grace. As we approach the end of this first week of Advent, I want to encourage you to reflect on JOY, which is this week’s theme. No matter what this year has brought upon you, God wants you to know that He is God. He wants you to trust in Him and be thankful for all that He has blessed you with. See, the world is not responsible for giving us JOY, so do not allow for the world to take it away. Like Paul, we must strive to be content in ALL situations. The birth of Christ was much needed JOY to a broken world. The second coming of Christ will not only bring an everlasting JOY, but also PEACE and REDEMPTION.

Please meditate on the scriptures below when you can find the time to have a little peace and quite time this week. Also, consider watching the video below as well, for an extra dose of inspiration.
