Purposeful Enemy

I think by now you are very aware that the enemy comes ONLY to kill, steal, and to destroy. The enemy that roars around like a lion, looking to devour us, is clever, sneaky and very specific about his tactics. He will operate through ANY person, place or thing, that will be weak enough to give him access. Unfortunately, he is extremely clever at using people for his demonic purposes. Now, he doesn’t force anyone to do anything, we all have free will……………. but, because he studies our ways, he knows just how and who, he can use for his purpose. He may come at us with people that we love, people that we work with, strangers at the store; he will even use our own selves, as a way to destroy us. I am confident that you agree, that the world is in total CHAOS! A stranger can quickly become an enemy. A loved one can so easily, come up against us. A friend, turns us over to our killer. However, be assured Sis, even our enemies have a great purpose.

“a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.’” Matthew 10:36 NIV

I want to encourage you to not focus so much on your enemies (I know, that seems impossible). I want to encourage you to focus more on God. God knows all, so He is very aware of the attacks that you are facing. He knows every plot and scheme that is planned for you. He is not oblivious to what is going on. But He also knows that THE ENEMY HAS ALREADY BEEN DEFEATED! The enemy wants you to operate out of fear. The enemy wants to discourage you. BUT GOD. BUT GOD. BUT GOD! God got YOU. However, He wants you to learn to FIGHT FROM VICTORY, RATHER, FOR VICTORY. Judas was always  part of the plan; his deception, led to salvation. It was always meant for David to be the one to take down Goliath. Sarah’s jealousy, transformed Hagar. OUR ENEMIES HAVE PURPOSE.

 So, put on your Vaseline, tie your hair back and take off your earrings, Sis………….. GET READY TO FIGHT! See, we are not fighting against flesh and bones, nope, it’s not about him/her; it’s all about defeating the real enemy, which is the devil. Set boundaries. Stand firm. Add and delete where necessary. Pray. Yell out scriptures.  However, always remember that you are GOD’S DAUGHTER and YOU WERE CREATED FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS!
